MC Squared Energy Services, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wolverine Holdings. Founded in 1994, the Wolverine companies comprise a number of diversified financial institutions specializing in proprietary trading, asset management, order execution services and technology solutions. They are recognized as a market leader with focus on innovation, achievement and integrity with clients and colleagues. The Wolverine companies are headquartered in Chicago with satellite offices in New York and San Francisco, and a proprietary trading affiliate office located in London.
Charles C. Sutton
Chuck Sutton has more than 25 years of energy experience in both the natural gas and electricity industries. Prior to founding and launching mc² in 2008, Chuck was Chief Operating Officer of Constellation Energy’s retail natural gas division in Louisville, Kentucky. Chuck was also president of DPL Energy Resources (DPLER) in Dayton, Ohio, between 2012 and 2014, the period in which DPL Energy owned mc². During that time, he led the utility-affiliated expansion into the Ohio retail energy markets. mc² was sold to Wolverine Holdings in early 2015.
Chief Financial Officer
John Clark has more than 30 years of energy experience in both the natural gas and electricity industries. In addition to mc², John was Regional Controller and Vice President of Operations for Constellation Energy, as well as Chief Financial Officer for DPL Energy Resources (DPLER). John also spent 15 years at MidCon Corp, (parent of Natural Gas Pipeline of America), where he held several positions in strategic planning, accounting, regulatory compliance and engineering.
